HOMEOWNERSHIP COUNSELOR

The Homeownership Counselor is responsible for providing excellent homeownership education and counseling services for the needs of current and prospective homeowners, from pre-purchase education and counseling to credit counseling and foreclosure prevention counseling. The Homeownership counselor provides one-on-one counseling, teaches workshops and classes, and assists clients with first-time home purchase assistance applications.

HOUSING SPECIALIST

The Housing Specialist is responsible for directing clients to the best funding source for home improvements, including in-house loans, the in-house Minor Home Repair (MHR) program, and loans and grants from external funding sources, and for administering applications for these programs. The Housing Specialist also underwrites in-house loans, presents loan packages to Loan Committee, and works with Loan Committee and Loan Team staff to develop new loan products and improve current products and services. The Housing Specialist is also responsible for leading Post Purchase Education Classes and Events.
